An agenda item discussed at our meeting was the players doing the handshake at the end of each game. With the potential of a pandemic of the H1N1 flu, this action could be a serious sanitation issue in future.! It was decided that each player could make the decision of taking off his hockey glove and shaking hands, leaving his glove on and doing a handshake  or not doing the handshake thing at the game and it would be understandable! Hopefully each team Rep will discuss this issue with their players and nothing negative will result from individuals making their own decision regarding this health issue.
