With the potential of a pandemic of the H1N1 flu, this action could be a serious sanitation issue in future.! It was decided that each player could make the decision of taking off his hockey glove and shaking hands, leaving his glove on and doing a handshake  or not doing the handshake thing at the game and it would be understandable!
